Coaching

What is coaching? I define it by, helping a person go from where they are today, to where they want to be in the future.

A coach is not counselor, coaching is not a consultant, a coach is not a mentor. As a counselor, consultant, and a mentor there is expertise that they bring, they offer advice, they tell you what to do. That is not coaching! A coach is simply a person that comes along side you, supports you, guides you, and keeps your vision in front of you and helps you achieve that vision. At times will I offer advice? Yes. Will I challenge you to come up with the appropriate answers? Yes, who knows you more than you?

The goal is to help my clients progress toward the success they desire.  Everyone defines success differently, so the first step is to determine what it means to you.

We begin this process by determining whether we are a fit for each other. Coaching is not a one-way relationship. You will require much from me, but I will also require much from you. 

I suggest we conduct complementary one hour call, then if we agree, a trial month of four sessions. As we begin, each of us will list expectations we have for each other.  At the end of the four weeks, we will meet to determine if it makes sense for us to move forward. 

I have coached people and organizations for 25 years. I have helped hundreds of people achieve results - personally and professionally. I have started two successful businesses of my own. I am confident that I can do the same for you.

The foundation of my coaching will use the formula DDCARA:


Discovery - What is the reality of your current situation.  What do you want to achieve? How will you know when you’ve achieved what you wanted? What will it look like?

Decide - Make the choice to move forward towards what you want. You can have it all, if you choose to.

Commit - This is the hardest step. It will mean change. You can’t act, live and think the way you have and expect better results.

Act - Now!  Stop getting ready to get ready. Take the first step.

Reflect - Have your actions created the results you wanted?

Adapt - If yes, keep moving forward. If not, revise the plan, but keep moving forward.

3 Month Growth Plan (Am I delivering value, are you growing) - 6 bi-weekly, one hour sessions.

One Year Plan - 24 bi-weekly one hour sessions.

*If you choose a 3 month plan, or the 1 year plan and at any time you do not feel that I am bringing you the value you expect for your investment, you will not be obligated to continue the remaining sessions.
